The beginning of our story
As a child of a first generation immigrant family, I know better than anyone on what it’s like to have to achieve (my parents strongly believed that education is the only way to a better life). I experienced the stress of preparing for the selective high school test. I went through the grind of high school in a competitive full selective high school. I understand the stress of preparing for the HSC and gunning for a top ATAR.
More than anything else, I understand the journey of the typical student who wants to perform. Most would agree that I am perfectly positioned to help and thus I set out with a mission.

You may have realised that we only offer a select few courses. This is because we only want to offer courses that we deem to be of the highest quality!
All our courses are developed in accordance with the NESA syllabus. However, we have invested a lot of time and effort into development and continuous refinement of our courses to ensure unrivalled detail and clarity. Our courses are designed to teach content from the ground up - in a structured manner, systematically and comprehensively. We always start with fundamental concepts and progressively introduce a wide range of examples (from the foundational stuff all the way to the challenging stuff). At the same time, we ensure that content is delivered in a timeframe that allows you to learn at a comfortable pace while keeping you ahead of your school schedule!
Our classes are intentionally kept small so that we can focus on you. Our teaching style is relaxed yet focused and our class discussions are dynamic and engaging. Where we really shine is how much easier we make difficult concepts to grasp! When you do need help, you can easily reach out to us. We are always keen to share our experiences, perspectives, tips and tricks to make your journey a little easier and a lot more enjoyable!
Student resources
We all know how important student resources are and that’s why we built everything based on what we would have loved to have access to if we were back in high school. We invested tens of thousands of hours into developing our learning material and our online learning platform, HSC101. It took a lot of work but we were committed because because nothing makes us sleep better at night than knowing that you have everything you need to succeed!

Let us start with our course notes, the ultimate companion to your study journey. It is neatly structured to outline everything we cover in class. It has space for you to annotate the theory as well as space to jot down the worked solutions for the examples we go through in class. We hope this will be your go-to whenever you need to look back - like when you get stuck on a problem or when you’re revising.

There is no shortcut to learning. We can make things easier to understand, and maybe a bit more fun and exciting, but the knowledge that is bestowed upon you is not truly yours until you internalise it. This requires practice.
Our workbooks contain a carefully curated collection of challenging questions that will help you go that extra mile. We have gone above and beyond to search for unique questions so that our workbooks aren’t like your typical textbooks. Our sole purpose here is to expose you to a wide range of problems so that the probability that you come across an unfamiliar problem in the midst of an exam is minimised.

We know that not everyone needs extra challenging questions all the time. Some might want more basic questions to help build a stronger foundation while others may need something basic for some revision. This is part of why we developed our online learning platform, HSC101. A system that brings you unrivalled flexibility and convenience, almost like having a private tutor with you 24/7. Our AI online practice sets provide all the practice you would need. The advanced system reads natural maths input, grades submitted responses and provides detailed feedback on questions you get wrong in real time! You can attempt a practice as many times as you’d like until you’ve mastered the relevant concepts and skills. Our practices are algorithmic and randomly generated so that you get fresh questions after every submission!

On top of that, if and when you get stuck, there are thousands of learning videos on HSC101 that cover theory and numerous worked examples for you to stream on demand. The video library matches up nicely with the course notes and is broken down into 5-to-10 minute long videos. This makes it just as convenient for you when you’re trying to find something specific to help get you unstuck as it is when you want to preview or revise a topic as a whole.

We will help you stay on top of the work so that the work doesn’t stay on top of you! We track your progress consistently through topical quizzes and homework monitoring. When we identify an area of weakness, we will work with you tirelessly to tackle any difficulties, ensuring you have the confidence necessary for success. We will actively encourage you to do better and give you the extra push when needed. We are always ready to help, even outside of lesson hours. No matter whether you’re stuck on a school problem, our homework or preparing for an assessment, we will always be there to help!
